LONDON(AP) — On Saturday, a glitch with the turnstiles at Emirates Stadium prevented thousands of supporters from entering the stadium in time, delaying the start of Arsenal’s Premier League opener against Nottingham Forest by 30 minutes.

The game’s kickoff was delayed from its original time of 12:30 p.m. local (1130 GMT) due to what appears to be a problem with the club’s new digital ticketing system.

A thin crowd could be seen inside the 60,000-seat stadium while thousands of supporters were still waiting outside the Emirates 10 minutes before the game’s scheduled start.

By the time the game began at 1 p.m. local time (1200 GMT), the stadium was full and the turnstiles had finally been able to open.
