Harry Kane makes his debut for Bayern Munich in a 3-0 German Super Cup defeat.

Harry Kane of England has played his first game for Bayern Munich after being brought on as a substitute during the team’s humiliating 3-0 loss to German Cup champions RB Leipzig in the Super Cup final on Saturday in Munich.

The Allianz Arena audience cheered loudly as the 30-year-old entered the game in the second half. The club lost its season opener, thus it wasn’t enough.

Dani Olmo of RB Leipzig scored a triple trick to help the German team win its first Super Cup.

Following a rumored $126 million transfer deal with Bayern Munich, Kane revealed on social media that he was quitting Tottenham Hotspur, the club he has spent the last 19 years playing for.

He set the record for most goals scored by a Spurs player with 280 in 435 games in all competitions. He scored a lot of goals for Tottenham, but the team did not have much success on the trophy front.

A day before Tottenham’s opening-day match, Kane addressed his intention to leave the team, saying: “I felt like this was the time to depart. I did not want to enter the season with numerous unresolved future discussions.

Kane expressed gratitude to his Tottenham supporters, teammates, coaches, and managers in a different video posted on his official social media pages. He said, “I’ve done everything in my power to make you proud.”

Kane will “always be welcomed back” to the club, according to Daniel Levy, the chairman of Tottenham. “It should go without saying… He will always be remembered as a beloved and valuable part of the Spurs family.

Harry, however, made it known that he was looking for a new challenge and would not be signing a new deal this summer. Therefore, we have regretfully approved his move,” Levy stated.
